UPCOMING PERFORMANCES
The Abbots Langley Players would like to thank all those who came to support our November production of "Last Tango in Whitby" which was very well received.

The Abbots Langley Players are delighted to be producing
“Rules for Living”
by Sam Holcroft in April 2025. Directed by relative newcomer to ALP, Annie Connell who has over 30 years’ experience with Tower Theatre London.
The play has marvellous opportunities for actors and ALP want to cast the net wide to give local actors a chance to take part. Here’s a taster from a previous production. https://youtu.be/eMbC_8r2K8k?si=3faJY_W4xu8CozNE
It is a dark comedy set at Christmas, where tensions come to a head over lunch. Everyone has their own Rule to follow leading to hilarity and confusion, with the audience knowing more about what is going on than the characters. Chaos ensues, relationships are tested. Reminiscent of classic Ayckbourn, it is bound to be a winner for cast and audience alike.
If you would like to audition, the characters include two, playing 40s, heterosexual couples, mother and father 60s/70s and a 14 year old girl who appears briefly.
Rehearsals start Jan 7th Tues and Thurs. Performances wk beg. 27th April 2025, at the Henderson HUB. All queries, and for more extensive info about the play and characters contact Annie at rulesforliving@.gmx.co.uk
It’s going to be fun.
